Troll Tails
My wearable troll tails are one of a kind wearable costume pieces inspired by folklore, the art of Brian and Wendy Froud, and the imagery of the Mystics in The Dark Crystal
You too can become a troll. Earth and rock, root and soil. Each troll tail is one of a kind, using a custom mix of textured fabrics, cording, hagstones, and other found objects. According to Brian Froud in his book Trolls , each troll decorates their tail with objects related to their stories told and heard. Create your own story with one of these magical tails.
Each tail is made to drag on the ground behind the wearer, and will develop a patina and wear pattern unique to your own experiences and where you wear it. Feel free to let leaves and twigs and other objects accumulate on your tail as desired.
Tails are attached to a belt that ties onto the wearer and one size can fit anyone. From belt to tail tip, they measure approximately 65 inches.
